PAX West is one of the biggest gaming events of the year. The four-day event invites gamers of all backgrounds to totally immerse themselves in the culture of video games. To celebrate gaming success, Predator is challenging gamers with a unique Training Room AR Experience. If you’re visiting PAX West, be sure to sign up for the challenge, as you could be the winner of the fully-decked-out Predator Orion battlestation.
Entering the sweepstakes is similar to finding quest markers. You’ll need to search for the four Predator posters scattered across the PAX West show floor. Each poster corresponds to a component of the grand prize. Once you’ve found a poster, use your phone to scan the augmented reality marker at the top of the poster. This will reveal one of four AR challenges. Each challenge you complete will count as an entry for the giveaway.
Your efforts will be duly rewarded. This year, Predator is gifting the grand-prize winner with its top-end Orion 9000 gaming PC equipped with an Intel® Core™ i9-7980XE 18-core processor, two NVIDIA® GeForce® 1080 Ti graphics cards, and 128 GB of DDR4 RAM. With a machine this powerful, it won’t matter what games you play; simply crank all the detail settings to max and let your eyes be boiled by the stunning visuals. But that’s not all. Acer is pairing the system with a Predator XB1 144 Hz IPS gaming monitor, a Predator Aethon 500 gaming keyboard, and a Predator Cestus 500 gaming mouse. Don’t be discouraged if you’re the runner-up. Predator will be giving the second-place winner a Predator XB1 monitor with Tobii Eye Tracker. Third place gets you a sweet peripherals bundle consisting of a Predator Cestus 500 gaming mouse, an Aethon 500 gaming keyboard, and a Predator Galea 500 gaming headset.
The PAX West show floor is massive and busy, so finding the posters may not be easy. Luckily, Predator will be giving out contest hints on its social media pages.
