These gaming bundles will burst your Christmas stockings
Sometimes, matching the right gaming mouse to the right keyboard to the right headset can be maddening. You want uniformity with your gaming setup, but buying peripherals individually makes it that bit harder to achieve. If you’re in that position, these gaming bundles could be the way to go.
Currys PC World is presenting us with a Christmas feast of gaming bundles - perfect for new gamers looking to knuckle down for some ‘Day One’ gaming without getting a migraine about which peripherals go best with which. The following bundles are brimming with gaming essentials - from keyboards to mice - and will bolster PC gaming setups old and new.
Bundles tend to be good moneysavers too, and all of those we’ve picked out here come in at under £100.
All the below bundles are available online via the Currys PC World website, or you can Click-and-Collect them from stores.
1. ADX 0620 Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Bundle
There are few things as acoustically satisfying as the crisp clackety-clacks of a new mechanical keyboard, and this bundle contains one of the best around. The ADX MK0620 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is just 60% the size of a full-fat keyboard, making it perfect for smaller desks or improvised work-from-home spaces.
This keyboard is built for speed. Its mechanical red switches enable super-fast taps, giving you that essential edge when competing online, and its 100% anti-ghosting feature means that no matter how fast your commands, you'll stay in absolute control of your gaming. The customisable RGB backlighting means you can set your keyboard’s vibe exactly how you want it.
The keyboard is coupled with the ADX M0620 Optical Gaming Mouse. Weighing in at just 72g, this mouse has 6 DPI levels up to 12000, so you can tweak it to get that sensitivity just right.
The mouse has five programmable buttons, which let you set up bespoke macros for your favourite games. Like the keyboard, it too has customisable RGB LEDs, so you can match your mouse up with your keyboard or go off the rails and give it a different lighting scheme altogether.
This mouse-and-keyboard combo costs just £59.99. Not a bad deal considering the keyboard alone is £50.
2. Corsair 4-in-1 Gaming Bundle
This one has it all: a Corsair K55 RGB Gaming Keyboard, HARPOON Pro RGB Optical Gaming Mouse, HS50 PRO Gaming Headset and MM100 Gaming Surface.
The keyboard has 10 RGB lighting modes, six programmable macro keys, dedicated volume and multimedia controls, a detachable soft-rubber wrist rest and collapsible feet, giving you the support and ergonomics you need for those hours-long sessions.
The Harpoon RGB Pro Gaming Mouse also has dynamic RGB LED lighting, six programmable buttons for those sweet sweet macros, and a 12,000 DPI sensor. The Omron switches are said to last for up to 20 million clicks (we’d love to see someone put that gargantuan figure to the test).
The bundled headset is Corsair’s trusty HS50 PRO. It features custom-tuned 50mm neodymium drivers for crystal clear sound, noise cancellation, a detachable mic, and super squishy memory foam ear cups with on-ear controls.
If that wasn’t enough, there’s the Corsair MM100 Gaming Surface to round things off. You may not think a quality mouse mat is /that/ important, but you’ll think again once you’re gliding your Harpoon mouse over this thing.
3. Razer Power Up Bundle
Razer has a cracking set of gaming peripherals available right now with this Power Up Bundle, starring a trinity of gaming goodies: the Razer Cynosa Lite gaming keyboard, Viper ambidextrous gaming mouse and Kraken X Lite gaming headset.
The keyboard has soft, cushioned gaming-grade keys that offer great responsiveness to lightning-quick actions (and they’re great for typing too!). Its Chroma RGB lighting offers near-infinite customisation and handy spill-resistance for when you’re tipping over those Monster drinks during intense late-night shooter marathons.
The Viper gaming mouse uses Razer’s unique Optical Mouse Switches, making for ultra-fast, reliable clicking. The 16K DPI sensor is almost unmatched for accuracy, while its svelte 69g weight makes it swipe easily across your mouse mat. This ambidextrous mouse has eight programmable buttons and onboard DPI storage, so you can take your settings with you no matter what computer you plug your mouse into.
Rounding off this gaming triptych is the Razer Kraken X Lite 7.1 gaming headset. With custom-tuned 40mm drivers, the immersive bass rumble of your favourite games doesn’t drown out those crucial mids and highs that give you the vital audio cues you need.
Team comms are sorted with the flexible boom arm-mounted microphone and its memory foam earcups and soft, cushioned headband make it ideal for those long raid and battle royale sessions. Weighing it at just 230g, it won’t encumber your head either!
