Logitech's budget wireless gaming mouse is down to sub AU$50, which kinda makes me want to buy two

The Logitech G305 Lightspeed is a budget wireless gaming mouse that will normally set you back between AU$75 and AU$100. It's one of our favourite wireless gaming mice, and takes top spot in the budget sub-category, mainly because despite its affordability it boasts Logitech's very best "Hero" sensor.

It's also super light, and while it doesn't feel as jewel-like as higher-priced Logitech peripherals can, it still has a solid build quality: this thing is going to last a while, and you're much better off buying one of these—either for gaming or productivity—than the droves of no-name stuff available on Amazon and elsewhere for roughly the same outlay.

That outlay, by the way: it's currently going for AU$46.55 if you're an Amazon Prime member, or AU$49 if you're not. You're basically saving AU$2.50 for the trouble of making another dummy email to get another free Amazon Prime trial (unless you're a legit Amazon Prime subscriber, in which case aren't you fancy). I'll leave it for you to decide if the effort is worth it.

This is our favourite budget wireless gaming mouse, and with over 50% off the RRP, it's just gotten... budgeter. It's a brilliantly pared-back device with a top-notch sensor, featherweight comfort, and an impressive 200-hour battery life on a single AA battery.

Aside from being a speedy and precise wireless gaming mouse (12,000 DPI and that aforementioned Hero sensor), the G305 Lightspeed will also last 200 hours on one AA battery. When you're not using the included 2.4Ghz wireless dongle, you can store it inside the mouse, which is a nice touch.

If you're feeling more indulgent, Amazon is currently selling its much-more-premium Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse for only AU$85, down from the usual street price of between AU$179 and AU$250. There is one caveat: it's branded with streamer Shroud's logo. Maybe you even like that.

This premium Logitech mouse normally sells for anywhere between AU$125 and AU$219, so this price is pretty damn good. Our review was favourable, praising its build quality and "classic look".
