Your next Fortnite Crew skin is Aftermath, bringing the party to the afterlife
Death on the dance floor.
The next Fortnite Crew skin is here, and players have another outfit to stash in their locker as thanks for their hard-earned V-bucks. This month, we've got Aftermath, a masked phantom with a penchant for liberty spikes, bouncing EQ bars, and good ol' gold.
As usual, you can subscribe to Fortnite Crew to gain access to these exclusive skins. Even better, Epic has guaranteed that once these skins rotate out, they'll never be available again, making them a particularly rare must-have.
Below, we've laid out everything you need to know about the next Fortnite Crew skin, its new cosmetic items, and other details.
Fortnite Crew: Aftermath skin
The basic Aftermath skin calls to mind previous Crew skins like Deimos, with all that trendy jacket layering going on. Aftermath's coat in particular has an iridescent quality to it that makes it particularly shiny, and changes the sheen depending on the light.
An alternate version of Aftermath takes his hoodie off to reveal his golden skull, which really evokes Midas and Oros' gold-covered bodies. It's basically just punk rock as hell.
Now for what's really got me excited. Aftermath's back bling is a reactive EQ that, you guessed it, reacts to music around you. This isn't the first back bling to do such a thing, but I just really love this particular back bling's style. It reminds me of the same kinds of EQ bars you'd see in Windows Media Player back in the day. Is that still a thing? Am I one of the olds now?
Finally, we've got Aftermath's pickaxe, the "Rave Digger" and his black and gold weapon wrap. Frankly, there's nothing terribly exciting about these items, but they're certainly sleek if that's the aesthetic you like to go for in Fortnite.

Last but certainly not least, all Fortnite Crew subscribers get the customary 1,000 V-bucks to spend as they please, plus access to the current battle pass. At $11.99 a month, it's certainly up to your tastes to determine if this is a good deal or not. Considering buying 1,000 V-bucks would cost you $8, we can't complain too much about getting a bonus skin for just a few dollars more.
